Dum Dum Girls "On Christmas"

By this Blog's rules it officially isn't the Christmas season until you've heard the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl's "Fairytale of New York" or The Waitresses' "Christmas wrapping".

But now there's a new song to be added to the Yuletide jukebox...

"On Christmas" is Dum Dum Girls' contribution to Converse Rubber Tracks Noise to the World 2 festive missive that is available for download via Soundcloud.

The song is a deliciously bittersweet and melancholy synth-pop infused take on the Christmas festivities, that wouldn't sound of place on their stellar Year-listed album "Too True". 

The whole song is lovingly wrapped in Dee Dee's gorgeous vocals and artfully tweaked by Kurt Feldman of Ice Choir.
